The required documents for car rental for VIPs, natural persons, companies and organizations, non-resident Iranians, and non-Iranians are as follows:
VIP:
VIPs are not required to submit guarantee documents for car rental services.
Natural Persons:
To apply for car rental service, natural persons are required to submit a cheque equal to the amount of car value and one of the following documents as the cheque guarantee:
1- Title deed,
2- Business license,
3- Employment documents, and
4- Payment of cash deposit equal to 10% of the approximate car value.
It should be noted that the submission of any of the above documents would suffice.
Companies and Organizations:
Large private companies and government organizations are not required to submit guarantee documents for car rental services.
Non-resident Iranians:
Iranians that hold the passport or residence permit of other countries can enter into a self-drive car rental contract by presenting their passport and a deposit payment approximately equal to 1000-7000 US Dollars (depending on the desired car value).
Non-Iranians:
Non-Iranian travelers can enter into a car rental contract by presenting the copies of their passport and visa and a deposit payment approximately equal to 1000 to 7000 US Dollars (Depending on the desired car value).
All submitted guarantee documents shall be returned upon the conclusion of the contract.
